Work next to the place and today decided to have a cheddar burger and some French onion soup. Burger was as good as any other gormet burger and the soup was amazing. Never had onions that caramelized and there’s a bit of spice to it. Highly recommend!

The Bistro Burger was very tasty. Good quality meat used in the patty. The fries were very good, second only to Costco fries.

My whole experience at Downtown Bistro was simply amazing! The restaurant is beautiful and clean, the staff were warm, welcoming and took great care of my son and I. We shared the artichoke and sour apple dip to start, and it was like nothing I’ve ever had before. The flavours were spot on and beautifully presented. For our mains, my son had the classic cheddar burger and I had the zucchini pasta. Both dishes were perfection! My son is a very picky eater, but he tried and enjoyed everything we ordered. I don’t know where the chef has been hiding all my life, but if I could have him cook for me every day, I’d be in heaven! We will definitely be visiting Downtown Bistro again!

This place is beyond amazing! The elegant atmosphere and the friendly, courteous owners made our experience A+. The food is top notch. The portion sizes, the presentation, the aroma, the taste, absolutely incredible. Highly recommend this quaint bistro. The menu displays a number of different fares. From hamburgers to steak, seafood, poutines, Unbelievable choices. I wish I lived in Edmonton so I could frequent more often. Please visit this beautiful establishment. You will not be disappointed!
